The app-building bootcamp / 6 weeks

Build an app.
Bring it to life.

You have an idea. Let’s give it a useful first version. A six-week guided build with Rhet Porter and Rocky Bunker, from the problem you want to solve to a plan for putting it into the world.

For the idea you keep coming back to.

This is being designed for people who want to make an app and learn by doing: founders testing an idea, operators solving a repeated problem, and curious builders ready for a focused project.

Bring an idea or a problem you understand. The required experience, weekly time commitment, and software costs will be confirmed before enrollment opens.

Proposed curriculum

Six weeks. A useful next step each week.

This is the working outline. Rhet and Rocky will finalize the lessons, tools, and session format before the first cohort.

WEEK
01
Find the useful idea.

Choose who you are building for, talk through their problem, and define a first version small enough to finish.

Working toward: a clear project brief.

WEEK
02
Make it tangible.

Sketch the main journey, create a prototype, and put it in front of someone who could use it.

Working toward: a prototype you can explain.

WEEK
03
Build the core.

Turn the most important part of your prototype into working software. Learn to inspect, test, and improve what you build.

Working toward: a working core feature.

WEEK
04
Connect the pieces.

Work through the data and services your first version needs. Keep access, errors, and private information in view.

Working toward: a connected first version.

WEEK
05
Try to break it.

Ask people to use your app. Check the main journey on a phone, find the confusing parts, and fix the highest-priority issues.

Working toward: a tested release candidate.

WEEK
06
Put it into the world.

Prepare a launch, explain what you made, and decide what you will maintain and improve next.

Working toward: a launch plan and project demo.

A few things to know.

When does it start?

The first cohort is in planning. Dates, session times, and the delivery format have not been announced.

What does the $3,500 cover?

That is the planned tuition for the six-week bootcamp. The final package, support, recording access, software costs, and refund terms will be published before anyone enrolls.

Do I need to know how to code?

Entry requirements are still being finalized. Tell us about your experience in the interest form so we can assess whether the first cohort will be a good fit.

Will I leave with a launched app?

The proposed path works toward a usable first version and launch plan. What you finish depends on your scope, experience, and time. There is no promise of app-store approval, revenue, or a specific business result.

Does registering reserve a place?

No. It gives us permission to contact you about the program. You are not enrolled and no payment is taken.

What would you like to build?

Tell us a little about yourself. We’ll follow up when the first cohort details are ready.

No payment or commitment. Dates, requirements, and final terms will be shared before enrollment.
